With Bridgetime Pay, everyone is a winner
Rune Veneke, tournament leader and administrator at Åhus bridge club, Sweden, explains why they chose Bridgetime Pay.
– Åhus bridge club has been on the offensive even during the pandemic. In October 2020 we introduced Bridgetime Pay, which was a really successful move. We then played one tournament per week and got started without any problems, thanks in large part to a stable system and excellent support from Bridgetime at the start.
– After the pandemic, we are now up to about 30 tables in a normal week. The tournament directors are very satisfied because the collection of tournament fees is now automatic. Previously, it was both time-consuming, and came at a stage when the start-up of the competition needs to be done; in short, the cash handling was a scourge. Both members and guests appreciate the simplicity and overview of the club account with Bridgetime Pay.
– As a bonus, the treasurer gets efficient management of the bookkeeping and the administrators can easily create lists for sending out targeted e-mails. Our club applies a reduced membership fee for the members who play frequently and there are excellent statistics in the system to achieve this.
